Queen Of The Night Single Late Tulip

If Halloween were in spring, this tulip would probably be Number 1. Its the result of decades of work trying over and over to breed a truly black tulip. Queen of the Night is the closest any of the Dutch hybridizers have ever come to black, even though it's really a deep deep purple. In some light it appears jet black. And in arrangements, it is the flower arranger's darling and the gardener's pride. The experts in Holland tell us men particularly love this tulip along with the pure red ones.
