Naturalizing Fairy Garden Bulb Collection
Our Naturalizing Fairy Garden Bulb Collection begins the season with a delightful pairing of 'Tete-a-Tete' Miniature Daffodil and Siberian Squill. Emerging early spring, this yellow-and-blue duo grows just 4 to 6 inches tall – a perfect groundcover for edging pathways and dressing the front of borders. Next to arrive are the uniquely patterned blooms of Chequered Lily Fritillaria, sending up drifts of purple, white, and pink blooms mid-spring. At 10 inches, fritillaria is the tallest bulb of the mix, but still perfectly pint-sized. The upward-facing blooms of 'Golden Bells' Daffodil open in late spring, carrying their sunny yellow hues into early summer. This charming collection is perfect for planting in rock gardens or adding a touch of whimsy to your secret garden. Bulbs in this collection naturalize well in hardiness zones 3 through 8. Plant in full to partial sun in a well-draining soil. Encourage establishment by allowing the foliage to die back naturally, rather than cutting it down early, as plants store energy and enter summer dormancy.
Our Naturalizing Fairy Garden Bulb Collection is roughly 18 sq ft, and contains 109 bulbs:
25 x 'Tete-a-Tete' Miniature Daffodil
30 x Siberian Squill
30 x 'Chequered Lily' Fritillaria Mix
24 x 'Golden Bells' Miniature Daffodil
*Not all plants will be in bloom at the same time, as depicted on the illustration. Plants are subject to change due to availability. If we make substitutions, we feature plants with similar attributes suitable to the garden/collection design.
