The falls of 'Sapphire Beauty' are marked with a bright yellow flame that echoes the golden yellow falls of 'Oriental Beauty', while the blue tones share tints and shades of a single hue. Plants are hardy in zones 5 to 10 and establish best in locations where soil is warm and dry during the summer months when plants go dormant. In locations with wet summers, bulbs can be dug and stored after the foliage begins to die back. Store in a cool, dark place and replant in fall when you plant tulips and other bulbs.
